Emily Alice Garnham was born in 1995 and has lived the majority of her life in Twickenham, only leaving for three years to study Fine Art Painting in Brighton, from where she graduated in 2017. She is inspired by the lines and shapes which are used to design and construct all architectural urban structures.
Emily creates visualisations of architectural environments and spaces which capture the emotions and creative ideas that go into planning and designing these cityscapes. She creates stimulating sketches in order to express people’s memories and experiences relating to place, so as to encourage and inspire people to find the beauty in their surroundings. Emily communicates concepts through her draughtsmanship and brings them to life, thus creating compositions which capture the character of our architectural habitat.
Emily tireless promotes her practice and her recent success have included exhibiting at the 2018 Lynn Painter-Stainers Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London and she has also been a featured artist in the Grid Art Fair, the New Artist Fair and the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair.
